Welcome. I’m Emily, and Cecelia of Rome is my patron saint. I’ve named my blog and home for her, praying for her blessing. I started this blog after becoming a mother and realizing my Notes From A Handmaiden page of my youth no longer served as a place for my new outlook. So Cecelia’s Home was created as a place to share my life musings on home, faith and food, three of my favorite things!
I’m a young mother of three, wife of almost 6 years, church musician, avid consumer of information and ideas, novice sourdough baker, former cake maker, knitter, artist, etc. I have a lot of interests, so you’ll probably catch a bit of all of them. If you’re along for not always connected things, and deep personal reflections, you’ll find lots of that here. Thanks for reading, and Glory to God for all things.
